I'm a Software Architect at CoolPlanet, living in Ireland.

I love building software to solve real world problems. As a career changer and technology enthusiast, I’m a strong believer in lifelong learning.

I’m interested in roles where I’m exposed to new and exciting challenges, where I can remain hands-on and focused primarily on software engineering (IC Track).

Outside of work, I enjoy tackling DIY projects around the house. My latest endeavor was paneling my hallway, stairs, and landing. Despite my Master’s in Engineering, figuring out all of the angles took far longer than I’d care to admit!

I have a love hate relationship with home automation. While installing smart relays and writing scripts to turn off lights after going to bed seemed like a great idea, it’s less so when you're feeding a newborn at 2am and suddenly find yourself plunged into darkness!

To stay active, I’ve traded my rugby boots for five-a-side football, running and most recently, trying out the new craze of Padel.
